Cloud Integration Engineering Summer Intern

Do you want to work at the leading edge of technical computing? Do you want to help take MATLAB further into the cloud? We are looking for a motivated, fast-learning candidate with experience working with web technologies and MATLAB. You should have strong skills with server-side technologies like JavaScript, Node.js, and Python, know your way around MATLAB, experience coding and compiling C++, and should have demonstrated experience building web services. You need to be able to work independently and solve problems creatively. You must be able to write and present clearly and articulately.

Responsibilities

You'll be working on early prototypes of services delivering MATLAB-based solutions running on the leading cloud vendor platforms.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Candidates must be pursuing a master's level or a PhD level degree in a technical discipline.
  • Experience with C++
Additional Qualifications
  • Experience with MATLAB and web-based technologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication

Pluses:

  • Experience using/administrating Linux VMs
  • Experience with AWS and Azure a tremendous plus
  • Experience with server side programming in Java or JavaScript
  • Knowledge of object-oriented design and implementation skills in Java
  • Experience with node.js
