Digital Marketing Designer-Intern

The role of the digital marketing designer is to take ideas, concepts and copy from various resources and build compelling and effective digital artwork and visual layouts for use on the web and in digital marketing materials. The workload for this position will be 15 hours per week.

Tasks:

Create digital concepts, interactive collateral, and visual ideas for all forms of communication and promotional materials including landing pages, blogs, web banners, online advertisements, etc. and maintain a cohesive story across all channels.

Collaborate with marketing communications, product marketing, human resources and other teams to plan, analyze, organize and execute assigned projects on time.

Apply inbound marketing strategies for website content to generate quality sales leads. This includes assessing the effectiveness of product imagery and presentation needs, and A/B test ad copy and banners to maximize conversion.

Design across multiple content management systems, and be able to understand and frame a front-end user interface in order to communicate a design.

Gain a thorough understanding of our product hierarchies and how the websites use them to support product pages

Ensure that all materials are created in compliance with company policies and branding guidelines.


Requirements:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Currently pursuing a degree at a U.S. based Institution.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in graphic design, web design, computer systems.

Be an innovative designer, fast learner, and flexible, collaborative team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

A portfolio of digital work which can be reviewed.

Excellent knowledge of design principles, web standards, responsive web design and usability as well as outstanding computer, communication, proofing, testing and research skills.

Web design experience that includes interactive digital graphic design, front-end web design, and experience designing for conversion optimization

Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS syntax, Adobe Creative Suite and Office 365, particularly Photoshop and Excel

Experience with Sitefinity or Sitecore as well as lead nurturing software

Understanding of digital marketing practices and related company policies.

Interfacing with internal and external groups, soliciting and providing information require strong communication skills.
