We are searching for a Communications Coordinator Intern to join our team located at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.

Your Role:

As a Communications Coordinator Intern, you will be responsible for researching, writing, and delivering company-wide messages and will learn key business practices and technologies in a changing environment. You will have the opportunity to:

• Build on classroom learning through paid work directly related to your field of study
• Research, write, and edit internal communications then deliver using a variety of methods
• Maintain a yearly corporate and editorial calendar
• Make intranet updates and build intranet pages using SharePoint or another user interface

Ultimately, you will gain practical knowledge from professionals to get a jump-start on your career and will be able to make significant contributions to our company.

We need you to have:

• Current enrollment in a college program pursuing a BA/BS degree in Communications, Journalism, or Marketing
• At least a sophomore standing, or at least two years of coursework completed
• Excellent capabilities in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint

Icing on the cake:

• Interest or experience in photography, basic photo editing, and graphic design
• Prior work experience
