Internship- Product Development Engineer
Your tasks and responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of this role as, Product Development Engineering Intern, are to: -Assist engineering in developing process improvements and creatively solve process related problems; -Support the Business Development Team in the technical aspects of researching and working to support New Business Opportunities for the organization; -Assist with project work for coextruded product development; -Collaborate with engineers for developing formulations for textured tooling; -Run tests in the Development Lab; -Prepare, send, and follow-up on development samples.
Who you are
Basic Qualifications: - Currently enrolled in an Engineering degree program, preferably in Chemical, Mechanical, Plastics or Materials Engineering; - Experience in experimental documentation Essential Knowledge and Skills: -Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills -Strong analytical, fact-finding, and problem-solving skills -Demonstrated leadership skills through involvement of community activities
