SUMMARY: The Business Unit Director provides leadership through words and actions which supports the US Division Vice President to guide their Business Unit toward IEWC's Strategic Vision to innovate with compelling and effective supply chain solutions for the marketplace - allowing us to be a sustainable employee-owned company that grows our top line strongly, grows our bottom line even stronger and creates a healthy culture for the success of our people. The Business Unit Director will provide direct supervision to a team of Account Executives, Territory Managers, Account Managers, Account Development Managers and the Sales Center Manager(s) within their Business Unit. RESPONSIBILITIES: Exercise stewardship and sound business judgment Monitor and assess information and trends regarding the internal and external environment specific to his or her Business Unit; and benchmark against the best companies in the world Support the Division Leader and Division Vice President, as needed, in the ongoing development of IEWC's Strategic Vision and Call to Action, as it relates to his or her Business Unit Work with the Division Leader and Division Vice President in the development of the Business Unit's annual Operating Plan Manage all sales and pipeline activity through rigorous utilization of IEWC's Sales Effectiveness Tools and Sales Processes Set standards for and mentor and all direct reports Support the Division Leader and Division Vice President in maintaining strong relationships with the outside stakeholders of his or her Business Unit Management Direct the activities of his or her Business Unit in a coordinated fashion and collaborate across Business Units, Divisions and Corporate Units, maintaining an appropriate system of measures and revising courses of action to fit the circumstances Balance empowerment of all supervised employees with appropriate controls Foster high performance teamwork Demonstrate a commitment to ypotential by intelligently completing all EPP activities Appropriately manage the cost structure of the Business Unit Focus the activities of the Business Unit to achieve bottom line profitability and ROIC goals Support the Division Leader and Division Vice President in protecting and maintaining the assets of his or her Division and the overall health of the Division's balance sheet to ensure long-term sustainability Support the Division Leader and Division Vice President in ensuring the completion and maintenance of all required paperwork, records and documentation

Qualifications A Bachelor's degree and seven years or more of progressively responsible related experience; or a combination of education and experience. A valid driver's license and an ability to obtain a valid passport. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical and business information and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to work with Microsoft, SAP, Salesforce and all standard current computer applications. Frequently required to perform work related travel within the region (standard is 3 weeks per month).
