CUSTOMER SERVICE INTERN - NEW BERLIN, WI

OVERVIEW

The Customer Service Intern works with the Customer Service and Sales teams to collaboratively support customer service activities. The Customer Service Intern assists in; entering customer orders, achieving on time delivery of customer orders through various reporting, troubleshooting orders, proactive communication collaborating with customers and maintaining customer records to assure IEWC provides customer service excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Service

  • Work collaboratively with Customer Service, Sales and Distribution Center to update SAP delivery time on customer orders

  • Maintain all accuracy and metric goals to ensure a best in class customer experience for IEWC customers

  • Work collaboratively with Customer Service and Sales to ensure orders are entered accurately and efficiently

  • Maintain accurate, updated data within Customer Records in SAP

  • Manage Open/Late order report in SAP

  • Update customers on order status and make appropriate order changes per customer request

  • Work with Quality Team to notify customer about material compliance standards

Teamwork

  • Partners with a variety of teams including: Customer Service, Sales, Distribution Center and Quality to ensure a best in class experience for all IEWC customers and stakeholders

Personal & Team Development

  • Actively participate in opportunities to improve individual knowledge of the company, products, markets and systems

  • Follow a path of continuous improvement, using internal resources to enhance technical knowledge, sales and service skill levels

  • Maintain technical competency in all IEWC computer applications and customer service skills

Safety and Housekeeping

  • Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations.Maintain departmental housekeeping standards

Personal Development

  • Demonstrate ypotentialcommitment by actively working to complete annual goals and performance review

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Education and/or Experience: Pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's in Business related program

  • Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations: A valid driver's license

  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical and business information and deal with several abstract and concrete variables

  • Computer Applications Skills: Ability to work in a Windows environment and learn Outlook and SAP. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
