Position Summary: This position is responsible for monitoring production runs/orders through the molding machines, checking for quality, and maintaining a clean work area. Operate and monitor grinders and presses ensuring the product is manufactured in accordance with specifications, schedules and deadlines.

Functions: Responsibilities include attending up to five presses based on production schedules and manufacturing requirements. Check molded products hourly for defects. Reportdefects for timely correction and problem solving. Hygrade product for defects and perform quality checks. Grinding runners and checking cappers for runners. Clean track, bowls, conveyors and upright conveyor as necessary. Label boxes and ensure rejected and accepted product is separated. Responsible for cleaning work area and keeping aisles clear to ensuring a safe work environment. Performs general housekeeping duties such as sweeping and trash removal.

HS diploma or GED

1 year machine operating experience preferably in injection molding machines.

Ability to take instruction both verbally and in writing.

Attention to detail

Ability to lift/carry up to 35lbs.
