Amag is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our Engineering team. We are looking for a highly motivated individual that can self-manage their time and deliver results. You will be a key contributor in architecting our next generation of SaaS applications that can run on Windows or Linux either in the cloud or self-hosted by clients as needed.

• Mange lower environments used by Engineering
• Implement the appropriate logging and monitoring infrastructure needed to provide insight into how our applications are running
• Automate the deployment process of applications for cloud and on premise deployments.
• Help manage and define the release process and frequency of deployments
• Audit and improve the security of the infrastructure process
• Reviewing and ensuring that all changes to the production environments are documented, tested, and approved
• Provide technical guidance related to infrastructure and automation
• Assessing all tools currently used and providing technical leadership in their use and support as well as suggesting alternatives

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with demonstrated ability to work across various levels of an organization and problem solving skills
• Expert knowledge of server, networking, operating system, database, application performance management, monitoring and alerting system, load balancing, and security systems
• Strong Linux and Windows administrative capabilities
• Expert working knowledge of DevOps and cloud operational support processes
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining monitoring and metrics systems
• Experience with scripting languages
• Experience with provisioning software like Ansible or similar tools.
• Experience with source control like Git
• Experience with Docker, and container orchestration software
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Nagios or similar tools
• Experience with Jira processes a plus
