The primary duties of the Business System Analyst include responsibility for the design, development and implementation of IT solutions to support client Information Management System (IMS) needs. The Business System Analyst is accountable for success of project tasks. Requires scheduling, assigning and reviewing work of project team members. Other responsibilities include client interaction, preparing proposals and estimates for prospective projects, scope development and budget development. Work also involves project team building and supporting water, wastewater and storm water program management projects including program controls (PMIS), Clean Water Act regulatory technical support efforts, asset management and condition assessment data management, and development and implementation of Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). The candidate's experience shall include a broad range of IMS best management practices within water, wastewater, and/or storm water operation and maintenance activities including data collection, work order processing and work flow analysis, and asset management decision processes.

Qualifications:
Requires five plus (5 ) years of IT experience. Familiarity with system development, life cycle methodologies, application development, web development, business intelligence data warehouse technologies, system architecture and system design concepts. The candidate shall have experience with Electronic Document Management Systems, Environmental Management Systems, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems, Program Management Information Systems.
